NFDIS founder’s amazing community service recognised in the King’s birthday honours

The founder and long-term Chief Executive of New Forest Disability Information Service, Jacki Keable, has been awarded the British Empire Medal for her services to charity and the community.

In an intimate ceremony in the Charity’s shop in New Milton, surrounded by family, friends, colleagues and local civic leaders, the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Nigel Atkinson, read a moving citation from the King before presenting Jacki with her medal.

Everyone at the charity is extremely proud of Jacki’s achievements, and we offer our congratulations on this well-deserved award.
