Local Fashion Houses Take To The Catwalk For NFDIS
An evening of glamour and fashion was held at the South Lawns Hotel, Milford on Thursday 6th March in aid of New Forest Disability Information Service.
To a completely packed audience a lively display of colours and fashions for the spring were shown by local fashion houses, East at Elliotts, Phase 8 and Cream & Co who presented their latest collections. Acacia Beauty made up the fashion models and hair was styled by Christopher Mark.
The whole event was compared by Lymington Mayor Anna Rostand, who delighted the audience with tales and gossip from her days in the fashion industry and her own personal fashion tips!
There were stalls selling a variety of craft, fashion and beauty items and a very successful themed raffle. Hugely popular were the many discount vouchers generously provided by participating companies for pamper, hair and beauty and tone up sessions. The event was so well supported by local people that there was a waiting list for tickets.
New Forest Disability Information Service is a busy registered charity providing service to people with a disability across the New Forest area. All expressed their grateful thanks for the all the support and generosity of its sponsors for this fabulous Ladies Night. The evening was such a huge success everyone present said they were looking forward to the next event.
